Taken on my Pentax k1000, this is a non-digitally manipulated print. All wrinkles and bruises are makeup, and was shot on a timer under the watch of a friend. I set the meters, while bracketing the exposure to ensure a perfect value range. It is, most importantly, entirely yours truly. I was 17 at the time.

I really like this photo. I love how you managed the make-up, is simply awesome. I liked it so much that I had to make myself an account just to ask you a question: Would you mind if I use this in an article I'm working on? (it's called "what's real and what is not?") I would love to use your picture as one of the many examples, but obviously, I need your approval before doing anything =)

If this is you at age 17 with artificial aging, then you are a very talented make-up artist indeed. Nothing is more difficult than making somebody look older than they are and having it be believable.

Also: THOSE HANDS are amazing. I want them so much. In fact, I want four of them - on two pairs of arms, like this guy: [link] I have been struggling to draw his hands as I imagine them, but now I will probably use your portrait as a reference!

It's like if you were sitting to take a passport photo for yourself ,then you surprised the photographer and took out a camera and shot him first :D
